Our Open Studio offering provides adult students and artist the ability to work on their own projects and / or to improve their skills. The open studio will always be monitored by at least one of our instructors but it is not an instructional course. You'll be able to use our equipment (wheels, slab roller, extruder, etc.), glazes and firings. To qualify for open studio, basic pottery skill level is required which can be acauired by attending at least one of our 8-week pottery classes or by a series of private lessons.

Note that we used cone 6 stoneware. If you prefer to use a different clay (e.g., Porcelain or Terra Cotta), further discussion is required to make sure you understand the restrictions.

All ceramic work is subject to glazing and firing fees and charges are the same fees we charge our students.

Having you own tool set is required. Can be purchased on-site.
