Newcomers to pottery as well as professional artists have been finding a warm welcome at Lakeside Pottery in Stamford since the Newfield Avenue studio opened its doors in 2002. Owners Morty Bachar and Patty Storms offer classes, workshops, summer camp, corporate team-building activities, birthday party events, sculpting seminars, teacher development and training courses and consulting services, as well as open studio and free introductory pottery workshops. Both Mr. Bachar and Ms. Storms, who are husband and wife, are accomplished ceramic artists as well as instructors at the studio; other instructors are also exhibiting artists.
Lakeside Pottery offers adult beginning and advanced courses as well as classes for children and Kids Summer Camp, for children ages 8-11 and 12-15.
