Raku Workshop
Our Raku workshops are educational and remove all the mystery
out of Raku breaking it down to theory, step by step processes, chemistry,
physics and hands-on. Students are required to bring their own bisque
pieces or purchase from a wide variety of pieces available at Lakeside
Pottery. Private Raku firing also available.

Altered Forms & Surface Texture
In this hands-on workshop, Morty will demonstrate how to
transform wheel thrown pots into a work of art where they will “move from
the kitchen to the living room”. Your work will never be the same and the
knowledge gained in this workshop will alter your thought process about
pottery dramatically. Morty will share his knowledge and he is an
absolutely hands-on teacher; he will guide each individual to her/his level
to maximize full potential and performance.
