• We are offering new programs such as, Raku workshops, Wood/Salt firing, teacher-led pottery tour to Japan, Corporate Teambuilding workshops and a unique pottery class of A Journey of Self Discovery.

• Hundreds of public schools students and several organizations in need have been through our outreach and in-house workshops (e.g., Kids in Crisis) at no charge.

• Several free "Pottery Making Workshops" were given to the public.

• Several organization are offering pottery programs to their communities at Lakeside Pottery (see side bar for organizations affiliated with Lakeside Pottery)

• 15% of Lakeside Pottery profits were (and will continue to be) donated to cultural and art-related causes (auctions, free programs, pottery equipment for the class rooms and more).

FALL PROGRAMS

Registration started for our September 8-week adults and children programs. Sign up as soon as possible since our winter adults programs were fully booked with several people on the waiting list.

SUMMER CAMP

The Pottery Summer Camp Program is designed to expose children to an actual pottery studio where they use the wheel and other pottery making methods. Several creative and fun projects will be taught by our accomplished artist / teachers. No prior ceramics experience is required. Hand building, glazing, firing and exposure to the wheel will be experienced. One-to-one attention will be given to each student. Starting June 23, 2003. Can enroll in one or more weeks. Snack (ages 8-11 only), material, toolset & firing fees included. $244 a week.

• Age 8 -11 Mon to Thu, 9:00AM -12:00PM
  
• Age 12 -15 Mon to Thu, 1:00PM - 4:00PM

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

We receive numerous calls every week inquiring about children birthday pottery painting parties. Since we only conduct parties working with clay (requires at least 2-sessions) at Lakeside Pottery, we decided to review local facilities and recommend one for our customers. Lakeside Pottery has chosen to be affiliated with Art & Soul in New Canaan, Paint Your Own Pottery Studio & Bead Bar.
