White House Commissioned Kintsugi Vase for The Japanese Prime Minister

This commissioned project follows the making of a wheel-thrown, chattered vase from about two pounds of clay, its intentional breakage, and restoration using 23.5K gold Kintsugi. The video also documents the artist’s April 10, 2024 invitation to the White House welcoming ceremony hosted by President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden for Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife.
