Our Gold Effect uses brass metal to create an appearance closely comparable to genuine gold. It is simpler to implement than the real-gold process and uses more accessible tools and materials.
Traditional Kintsugi uses genuine gold applied over lacquer, while our Gold Effect process uses brass metal encapsulated within a lacquer or epoxy bonding system. This creates a visually similar gold appearance using a simpler and more accessible process.
